Edit Ternyák is a trained photographer from Budapest, Hungary. Prior to her dedication to photography, she used to work as a journalist, as a radio presenter and as a spokeswoman. Her current passion for photography is supported by the experience she gained from her previous works in various fields of mass communication. Her photographic vision is to interpret reality in the most creative and personal way possible.
In 2020, she won a scholarship to Fachschule Alois Senefelder, München, Germany.
She came second in the photo contest of Hungarian Paralympic Committee with her photo series on Zsófia Arlóy paralympic athlete, in 2021. Her photo series on Gábor Kiss was also acknowledged by this organization.
In 2023 and 2024, Ph21 Photography Gallery selected her works for international group exhibitions five times.
Since she is committed to constant improvement, she enjoys taking part in photography projects that challenge her.
